So many things in my life, so little time to do them properly. Last week I watched again one of my most beloved films: "La maschera" (The Mask) by Fiorella Infascelli with Helena Bonham Carter and Michael Maloney. It's a delightful fairytale and I really love it so I made some screencaps and started to make icons, and now I'd love to share them with you even if my skills are rusty and worse than ever.

I started to watch NCIS from season two, mostly because I liked David McCallum and Mark Harmon and I liked it but wasn't so taken by it before I saw Air Force One (the Italian title). I loved the story, the banter and the chemistry between characters. I loved Gibbs with his rules and Kate Todd with her strength and feminility. And I really loved the humor: "- NCIS. Is that anything like CSI? - Only if you're dyslexic."
If you want to see only an episode to decide if you can like NCIS I think this is the one.

I loathe this episode, there is nothing I want to save from it. The way everyone forgive all Ziva's deceptions, the awful bathroom scene (nothing new, but it was always annoying for me), the way all of them seems unable to work out the case without her imput, the thing about Ari and after all of this she's again an agent. Even if at least some time flies before the ex mossad agent become a naturalized american citizen and ncis agent I think it's the most umbeliable turn of the events.

I saw this on nakeisha's journal and I liked the idea. Maybe I'll find something to enjoy again this show if I really think about it. Since my English is not so good and it's a long work for me writing even so short comments I'll post a couple of things at the time.

The first season, without a doubt.
The cast was perfect in number and interactions, I loved every one of them and the cases were always interesting and new. They traveled a lot: Cuba, submarines, aircraft carriers. They joked but they worked hard and often stayed in the office at night, eating take away and then returning to work. We had Kate (my favourite female character) and Director Morrow and only sometimes there was the need to add Ducky's assistant or a green agent named McGee.
Second season is the next best thing but really in the beginning of the show the characters were more well-defined than eight years later.

The 7th season made me really dislike what for years was my favourite show.
I loved the first two seasons, I mostly liked third and fourth even if loosing Kate was a hard blow and I didn't like the storyline about Shannon and Kelly. I tollerate most episodes of fifth and sixth, even if I don't understand all the fuss about the presumed Tony/Ziva relationship and some characters (mostly Abby, McGee and too often Tony) became childish and annoying. But the seventh was the season where, after all Ziva's betrayals (on so many levels), they forgave her in two episodes and she simply became a naturalized american citizen. It's a tv show, I know, but this was really too much for me.
After I wasn't able to watch new episodes if not specifically reccomended from friends who knows what I like and what I can't stand.

It's been months since my last post here. I had no time or inspiration for iconing or memes or even discuss the last episode of something. Than I saw "Sherlock" and I absolutely loved this new series and I decided that I needed some icons about it.
Mostly they're Sherlock, probably because Benedict Cumberbatch has a very intriguing look but also because I find really hard working on Martin Freeman face.

I used screencaps by potthead at rawr_caps for the first 52 icons. The last 12 are from caps made by me.

Yesterday I saw the pilot of the new show "Rizzoli & Isles" with Angie Harmon (Jane Rizzoli) and Sasha Alexander (Maura Isles). I used to love this genre but recently I can't stand most of the shows that I faithfully watched (NCIS, CSI NY, etc.) so I'm not sure that I'll be able to enjoy this one. But I loved Sasha Alexander in NCIS (five years later Kate Todd is still one of my favourite characters) and I'll give it a try.
In the meantime I made some Maura Isles icons, I hope you like them :)
